According to TVGuide, the official synopsis of the episode reads: "Conclusion. Kelly and Yolanda try to determine if two murder cases in Texas are connected in the Season 3 finale."

Futoncritic.com reports another synopsis, "Real-life crime series Cold Justice follows former prosecutor Kelly Siegler and former crime-scene investigator Yolanda McClary as they dig into small-town murder cases that have lingered for years without answers or justice. In this two-part episode, the Cold Justice team heads to White Settlement, Texas, to investigate two different murder cases at the same time: a 1992 sexual assault and murder of a woman who was stabbed to death in her home and a double homicide of two young men whose throats were slashed. Both crimes happened within months of each other and in the same greater neighborhood leaving local law enforcement with three unsolved murders. The team will have to determine if these two cases are potentially connected."

"Cold Justice" has been in headlines recently due to an acquitted murder suspect suing producers. Steven Noffsinger is taking TNT, "Cold Justice" producers Wolf Films and Magical Elves and on-air talent Kelly Siegler, Yolanda McClary and Alan Brown to court over civil rights violations and defamation, Deadline reports. This is the second time the show has gotten into trouble - last year, John Singletary filed for damages over more than $100,000 over "Cold Justice" re-linking him to a 2010 murder from which he had previously been dismissed.
