Jessica Simpson continue to make the top of the entertainment news this month. After opening up about her apparent big mistake on marrying Nick Lachey, her appearance on the Home Shopping Network (HSN) recently sent rumors swirling that she just unveiled her possible drinking problem on National TV.

As told by The Hollywood Reporter, the singer-turned-fashion designer stumbled on her lines during a live appearance on HSN. Simpson appeared on the show to promote her clothing line.

A lot of netizens, who watched the live show, immediately concluded that she might be drunk all throughout the show. On Twitter, a lot of users posted how "wasted" the fashion designer seemed to be as she blurted her words.

Although Jessica Simpson has yet to speak up on news that she was reportedly drunk on HSN, TMZ was quick to clarify the reports. In an item on the entertainment website, it was mentioned that Simpson was "lucid and polished" as the show went on as compared to the several minutes of her apparent slurring that was uploaded online.

HSN even sent a statement to People to share about the fashion designer's appearance on the show.

"It was fun to have Jessica make her HSN debut with her mother Tina last night," the statement read. "We were happy to host them and thrilled with the way customers responded to the collection." 

Host Colleen Lopez also gave her a shout out after her appearance on HSN.

"Thank you so much for watching tonight!" she wrote on Facebook. "Congrats to Jessica Simpson and her Mom, Tina on a sell-out show!!

While several people having clarified Jessica Simpson's state during HSN, the incident was not the first time she apparently looked drunk. In a report on Radar Online, they cited she also reportedly appeared "bizarre" during an event in March. In April, In Touch also reported that her family has purportedly done an intervention because of her drinking problem. None of the reports were confirmed.
