G-Friend's Yerin Accused Of Being Disrespectful After Doodling On Fan Gift

G-Friend member Yerin is under fire for drawing scribbles on a plushie gift she received from a fan, reports Koreaboo.

Online commenters claim Yerin did not show enough respect to the fan gift, a Pikachu plushie which was reportedly bought from Japan and cost around $200 to $300.

The controversy began when the fan recounted the events in popular South Korean forum Pann and posted pictures of Yerin using her sign pen to draw glasses, ribbons and even a mustache on the Pikachu plushie.

The fan who gave the gift made it clear that she was cool with Yerin drawing on the plushie, but did not stop online commenters from frowning on the idol's actions.

"Even if the fan said that it was okay do you really think the fan felt okay? I read what the fan wrote after the event and she said she was extremely surprised when she saw Yerin had drawn all over it. Imagine you had bought an expensive, hard to find gift from Japan for your friend and your friend ruined it in 10 minutes. How would you feel?" said one of the top-rated comments.

"Even between close friends it's wrong to ruin someone's gift. Especially when the gift was hard to acquire and not cheap but a $2~300 gift. She was wrong to draw things on it. It's a doll and now that it's ruined it's going to go to waste...her attitude was not that of a grateful person at all," said another critical online commenter.

Do you think Yerin was disrespectful and inconsiderate? Or are online commenters blowing the issue out of proportion?
