Super Junior Kim Ki Bum Thai Fan Meeting Attended By 3,000 People

The '2013 Kim Ki Bum Memory of Love Fan Meeting in Bangkok' was a huge success with 3,000 guests in attendance.

The event took place at the Central World Live Hall in Bangkok on March 31 and was a way for Kim Bum to thank his fans across Thailand for all the love and support they have shown him.

The event began with a musical portion where the singer performed a few songs live for his fans that started with "Moon of Seoul" and ended with a Thai song titled "Thank You For Loving Me" which he performed with a group of children.

Ki Bum's solo fan event came shortly after his smash hit drama I Love Lee Tae-ri began airing on BBTV in Thailand. Fans there have shown an immense response to the tvN show which follows the story of a young boy who suddenly grows up in order to pursue the woman he loves. The Thai station only recently received the broadcast privileges for the 2012 drama, and it has been a huge success throughout the country.

The idol talked about his role in the show as well as plans and ideas for upcoming acting projects. He even gave some details about his Chinese drama which just wrapped up filming not too long ago.

The meeting also included a meet-and-greet portion where the Thai fans were able to talk to and take pictures with the Super Junior idol who walked around shaking hands with the guests. A couple lucky fans were also presented with autographed memorabilia after a game was played with the crowd - a book and a hat.

In addition the huge turnout at the ' Memory of Love' event, fans also surprised Ki Bum with a large group at the airport to welcome his arrival and by showing a video message. They also held up signs that read, "We'll promise to look after you forever."
