GOT7 Rank Number 1 On Japan's Oricon Chart With 'Laugh Laugh Laugh'

GOT7 is laughing all the way to the top of the Japanese charts.

The boy group's new Japanese single "Laugh Laugh Laugh" has reached number 1 on the Oricon chart, its first time to do so, JYP Entertainment announced on the GOT7 official Facebook page.

"Laugh Laugh Laugh" is the third Japanese single released by GOT7.

The group debuted in Japan last year with "Around the World," which reached number 3 on the Oricon singles charts and has so far sold around 43,000 copies. Their second Japanese single, "Love Train," climbed up to number 4 and sold around 37,000 copies.

Congratulations have been pouring in as the group clinched a chart-topping feat in Japan.

"Congrats to my boys," "You deserve that and more," "You are all so awesome why wouldn't it be a success, we fans will always be there for you," said fans.

After making a huge splash in the Japanese music charts, GOT7 is scheduled to release their MAD album on September 29, but worries on possible delays have bubbled up after Jackson suffered an ankle injury while filming for "Go! Dream Team."

MAD is expected to show a darker and more charismatic side of GOT7, a stark contrast from the fun and bubbly image they displayed in their most recent promotions for the single, "Just Right."
