Lee Seung Hwan Breaks Record For Longest Concert In Korea At More Than 6 Hours

Balladeer-rocker Lee Sung Hwan has clinched a new record for the longest concert held in Korea with a 26th anniversary show that lasted six hours and 21 minutes, reports The Korea Herald.

Held on September 20 at the Uniqlo Ax Hall, Lee Seung Hwan's record-breaking concert titled Bar Day - 26 years was a jam-packed extravaganza where he delivered 66 songs to a packed audience.

The concert reportedly began at 4:03 PM and ended at 11:04 PM, inclusive of a 40-minute intermission so guests could be served and eat dinner.

Lee Seung Hwan debuted 26 years ago in 1989 with the album ...B.C 603, a milestone that was commemorated in the concert. He also invited hip-hop acts such as Garion, MC Meta and 45RPM which further added to his performance line-up.

Known as a concert king with more than 1000 solo concerts under his belt, Lee Seung Hwan's latest record replaces the old one he set back in 2012, which lasted for 5 hours and 40 minutes and saw the singer perform 52 songs.

On top of being the longest concert in the country, Lee Seung Hwan's 26th anniversary performance jumped on Naver's online streaming V App bandwagon. The whole six-hour show was broadcasted on V App, reportedly with around 35,000 real-time viewers around the world.
