NBA Trade Rumors: Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Love Switch Teams; Markieff Morris Remains With Suns

NBA superstars Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Love trade rumors have surfaced once again as Markieff Morris is expected to attend the training camp despite disagreements with the Phoenix Suns management.

The NBA trade rumors surrounding Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Love are not new as rumblings have started in the middle of last year. But the talks are gaining ground again, even as the Cleveland Cavaliers forward has already announced that he intends to stay with the squad.

Kevin Love and Carmelo Anthony's contracts match up fairly well," said sports blog. "There may need to be some players added to make it work, as the Cavs are in the luxury tax, but it should work out fairly well."

The blog said that it should bode well for both teams as the New York Knicks appears to be in a rebuilding mode, while the Cleveland Cavaliers will get a much needed firepower that it sorely needs as evidenced by its loss to the Golden State Warriors in the finals where Lebron James have to take on the scoring load.

"Kevin Love would be a great core player to have," it said. "He's only 27 years old and would be a perfect fit for the triangle, as he is a great passing big man that can rebound and shoot from the perimeter. The Knicks won't be good for a while, but they would be off to a tremendous start with the addition of Kevin Love."

Meanwhile, Markieff Morris-who has been the subject of several NBA trade rumors after blasting the Phoenix Suns management-will be attending training camp.

"Morris has not only had off-court incidents, but the NBA hit him with a fine for publicly demanding a trade," Bleacher Report said. "By the sounds of it, though, the Suns have no intention of trading someone they view as a starter."

"Morris received a career-high 31.5 minutes per game last year and responded with career highs in points (15.3), rebounds (6.2) and assists (2.3)," it added.
