2PM singer-actor Lee Junho drew in a massive 10,000-strong crowd for the Japanese preview of his movie Twenty, reports Allkpop.

The throng of fans trooped to the Japanese preview not only to watch the movie, but also to catch a glimpse of the idol, who attended the event.

The preview was split into two screenings and the combined attendees numbered more than 10,000, according to reports.

With overwhelming fan turnout and interest to his new movie, Junho personally spoke to the crowd with a message after the preview.

"I was nervous to stand on stage by myself as an actor, but I had fun. I'll work hard to be a good actor," said Junho.

Japanese fans have been looking forward to watch Twenty, a coming-of-age movie starring Kim Woo Bin, Kang Ha Neul and Lee Junho.

Junho was nominated in the Most Popular Actor category at the 51st Baeksang Arts Awards for his role as a carefree 20-year-old man whose dreams of pursuing a career as a cartoonist career are dashed when his family declares bankruptcy and he is forced to work part-time jobs to make ends meet.

Junho's popularity in Japan has also been rising due to the recent projects of his group, 2PM, in the country as well as his recent solo promotions, including a Japanese solo concert tour spanning seven cities.

Twenty opens in theaters across Japan on November 28.
