Google's Pixel C Tablet Looks Like The iPad Pro's Competition; Is It Worth The Purchase?

Google’s Pixel C Tablet now enters the market.

Google has been stepping up their game and introduced a number of different devices into the gadget market. It doesn’t look like they’ve stopped as they’ve just announced the Google Pixel C Tablet, a new tablet that runs along side a detachable keyboard.

There are a number of tablets available, but according to Mashable, this could be a rival to Apple’s iPad Pro and the Surface Pro 3.

The Google Pixel C Tablet starts at $499 for a 43 GB and $599 for a 64GB. The device features 3GB of RAM, a 2560 x 1800 resolution 10.2-inch display that runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with a NVIDIA X1 Quad-Core Processor. The detachable keyboard it comes with can tilt the table from 100 to 135 degrees just like a laptop.

Google even mentions that the tablets general architecture is of a desktop class.

Those who love listening to music won’t be disappointed by Google’s Pixel C Tablet as it packs a punch when it comes to sound. Though the tablet may seem like it works better as a mobile desktop, but the stereo speakers’ functions will make the tablet I must have.

There is a pair of stereo speakers on each side of the screen and it also has four microphones as well. This will make giving voice commands or voice searching across the room much easier.

According to Ars Technica, while the Pixel C Tablet is considered a rival to other tablets in the market, it still has a number of cons that still have to be considered. Like how the Android’s Chrome browser isn’t up to par with Chrome OS browsers, the keyboard is small and needs some getting used to and other issues.
