Taylor Swift Angers Fans With ‘1989’ Periscope Crackdown? Team Taylor Sending Demand Letters?

Taylor Swift may have gotten on the bad side of her own fans as rumors of her forming a team to pull down "1989" concert videos on Periscope circulate.

As reported by Heavy, some fans have not apparently appreciated the singer's purported move. The report even said that when "Taylor Swift Periscope" was searched on Twitter, mixed reactions from the fans can be seen. One even commented that uploading livestreams of "1989" on the app won't make the singer 'poorer.' Most posts though were about fans' excitement of turning to the app to watch the concert.

According to a report of Digital Spy UK, the "Wildest Dreams" singer purportedly already has a team that focuses on the crackdown of her "1989" concert livestreams. A groups called Taylor Alison Swift or TAS Rights Management has reportedly been sending demand letters and contacting the uploaders to demand the removal of videos.

"I am authorized to act on behalf of TAS Rights Management," the notice read according to Torrent Freak. "I need to request the removal of a live musical performance by the artist Taylor Swift."

"I have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law," the note further said as cited by Chilling Effects. "The information in this notification is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, I am authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner."

Taylor Swift has yet to address the Periscope rumors although Digital Spy has contacted her camp. She has recently addressed other rumors that have hounded her life recently including the recurring rumors of her getting married soon.

"What the press says I'm doing: Buying a Bev Hills mansion, getting married in an English castle," she tweeted. "What I'm doing: Playing a show in St. Louis."
