Former Wonder Girls Member Sohee Signs With New Agency

Former Wonder Girls member Ahn So Hee will begin again, this time under Keyeast Entertainment.

Ahn, who debuted as a member of the JYP Entertainment girl group Wonder Girl in 2007, signed an exclusive contract with KeyEast, reports Korean media outlets. On Sept. 30, KeyEast announced that Ahn picked the agency after becoming a free agent due to the company's expertise and stability.

Keyeast is the third agency to represent Ahn in recent years.

Ahn previously was signed to Big Hit Entertainment, after leaving JYP Entertainment at the end of her contract in 2013 to pursue a career as an actress.

"The possibilities for Ahn So Hee's development as an actress are enormous," Keyeast director Yang Geun Hwan told the Korean media, according to eNews. "She's an actor with infinite inherent potential."

Ahn acted in multiple dramas and films since her role in "Hellcats" in 2008. She most recently appeared in the 2015 tvN drama "Heart To Heart," and was recently filming "Busan Bound," a film directed by Yeon Sang Ho.

Keyeast was founded in 1998, and is owned by popular Korean actor Bae Young Joon. Along with Bae and Ahn, the agency represents top Korean stars including Bae Noo Ri, Kim Hyun Joong, Han Ye Seul, Uhm Jung Hwa, and many others.
