10 October K-Pop Releases To Get Excited About

Fans will be treated to some amazing music releases from K-pop idols in October.  Here are 10 worth checking out:

Taeyeon

The Girls' Generation vocalist is the first member of the girl group to make her solo debut, even though she's released multiple solo songs in the past. Prior to the release of her album, Taeyeon held a concert that reportedly sold out within moments of tickets going on sales as fans waited to see what she has to offer them. We can only wait to hear what her full album has to offer us.

iKON

YG Entertainment's long-awaited boy group officially debuted on Oct. 1, with two songs, "Airplane" and "Rhythm Ta." Fans have been anticipating the group since last year, after the members appeared on an Mnet survival show. Ahead of their debut, iKON released a preview track last month, raising expectations.

4MINUTE

The Cube Entertainment girl group made a comeback earlier this year with "Crazy," an groundbreaking song that gained the group a lot of international recognition. Since the members, aside from rapper HyunA, have been MIA from the main K-pop scene for some time now and we're looking to something great from them.

f(x)

Another top girl group, SM Entertainment's f(x) will make their comeback this fall. This will be the first time that f(x) will promote as a quartet following the departure of former member Sulli, so many people are keeping an eye out to see how the dynamic of the group changes.

Oh My Girl

WM Entertainment's first girl group debuted in April with the cute song, "Cupid," winning over hearts. Their funky sweet style stood out amongst many girl groups debuting this year, and it'll be nice to see what Oh My Girl has to offer up next.

BTS

One of the most internationally popular K-pop boy bands around, this hip hop-pop fusion group is known for continuously attacking the industry with constant comebacks. Their latest singles, "Dope" and "I Need You" leave everyone eager to see what BTS will create this month.

Brown Eyed Girls

The "Abracadabra" and "Sixth Sense" of K-pop are back. The sultry, vocally impressive quintet Brown Eyed Girls is making a long awaited comeback, the first since 2013's "Kill Bill" and will definitely heat up competition.

XIA Junsu

The last JYJ member standing (i.e. not enlisted in the Korean military,) will return with his second album of the year, following March's "Flower." This will likely by the last album from Junsu before he enlists and, like Taeyeon, this singer's incredible vocal talent and style is not something to be missed.

BTOB

The Cube Entertainment boy band gained popularity in 2015 with the rise of member Yook Sungjae as an actor, variety star, and solo singer. The group has done a lot of ballads and dance songs, and with their recent increase in fame, BTOB is sure to make a splash.

Melody Day

Possibly the least internationally known act on this list, Melody Day is a talented vocal girl group under Viewga Entertainment. They've gained attention particularly for their songs that appeared on multiple drama soundtracks, and whatever they release this month will surely be an audio delicacy.
