Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher Take Legal Action Over Unauthorized Publication Of Baby Wyatt's Photos

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis filed a lawsuit against Associated Newspapers, which owns British tabloid Daily Mail, for publishing photos of baby Wyatt without their expressed permission.

The couple's lawyer, Paul Tweed, told BBC in a statement, "Ashton and Mila understandably value their private and family life, and in particular their personal time with their daughter."

"Like any other family they should be allowed to enjoy family outings without being pursued by photographers," he added. "They have made it clear that they do not agree to the publication of photographs of such occasions."

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis' lawsuit, according to The Hollywood Reporter, slammed "the wrongful publication of paparazzi photographs of family outings," and using those photos to "promote clothing products by the Mail."

"The fact that [Kutcher and Kunis] are well-known to the public does not diminish the expectation that whilst 'off-duty' (as the articles described them) the details of their family outings and/or images of those family outings will be published to the world at large," the claim continued.

This wasn't the first time that the Daily Mail has found itself on the receiving end of a celebrity's lawsuit.

Back in July, George Clooney called out the British tabloid for publishing a false story regarding the tension on his marriage with Amal Alammudin over religious issues.

In an op-ed for USA Today, the actor said that he rarely respond to allegations by the tabloids on his personal life.

"But this lie involves larger issues," he wrote. "The irresponsibility, in this day and age, to exploit religious differences where none exist, is at the very least negligent and more appropriately dangerous. We have family members all over the world, and the idea that someone would inflame any part of that world for the sole reason of selling papers should be criminal."

Daily Mail issued a statement regarding Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis' lawsuit over baby Waytt's photos as it said that it "will be vigorously defending the claim and have no further comment to make."
