Girls' Generation's Taeyeon To Drop 1st Solo Album On October 7

Girls' Generation member Taeyeon is ready to make her official solo debut.

On Wednesday, Sept. 30, a representative from SM Entertainment revealed that Girls' Generation member, Taeyeon, will drop her first solo album I, a 6-track EP, online on Wednesday, Oct. 7. Fans will be able to purchase the album in stores on Oct. 8.

The 27-year-old is also going to hold her first solo concert at SM Town Coex Artium in Seoul on October and November. The concert, titled Taeyeon's Very Special Day, will be held Oct. 23-25 and Oct. 31-Nov. 1.

Getting fans excited for the release of her solo album, SM Entertainment released some amazing photo teasers, which shows her enjoying nature on a beautiful day.

It was also revealed that rapper Verbal Jint will be the featured artist for Taeyeon's title track, also called "I." The song, which Taeyeon helped write, is said to be medium tempo with an aggressive drum beat.
