Rain Opts To Join H Entertainment Instead Of Starting Own Agency

Singer-actor Rain (Jung Ji Hoon) has decided to join H Entertainment.

Rain previously revealed that he will set up his own entertainment company named CREATE, a one-man agency to handle his promotions and projects, but has since changed his mind. CREATE would have been the second management company founded by the Hallyu star.

Instead, following the end of his two-year contract with CUBE Entertainment in December, Rain has reportedly made the decision to sign with the already established agency H Entertainment to focus on his future projects.

Rain was recruited by JYP Entertainment in 2000 with CEO Park Jin Young becoming his mentor and friend. Rain then started his own company and JYP subsidiary, J. Tune Entertainment. After formally merging J.Tune and JYP in 2013 and completing his mandatory military service, Rain signed with CUBE Entertainment, which had been founded by his longtime friend and former JYP Entertainment president Hong Seung Sung.

So far in his career, Rain has established an impressive resume that includes singing and acting. Rain made his debut in 2002, with the release of the album Bad Guy and has several Hollywood films under his belt, most recently starring alongside Bruce Willis in The Prince.

Rain is currently acting and starring in the Chinese drama Diamond Lover alongside Chinese actress Tiffany Tang. The drama series started in July 22, and has a total of 40 episodes.
