There will be no wedding bells for Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff for now. The "Girls" actress said once again in an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that she will be shelving marriage for a while.

According to a report on Mail Online, the actress currently feels "intimidated" by the idea of marriage months after she told the public that she'd get hitched once gay marriage was legal.

"We were thrilled, we were celebrating," she told DeGeneres on Friday. "And then suddenly the texts just started coming from our friends, from our mothers, from our exercise instructors. Being like finally it's your time. And we kind of looked at each other we were like, 'oh God what have we done?'"

"But then we were like we're not gonna suddenly just get engaged because it became legal we better wait for a moment where we feel excited about this and I'm excited to marry him at some point, but it felt like a lot of pressure to just go for it that day," she added.

This is the second time that Lena Dunham spoke about a possible marriage with Jack Antonoff. In July, the "Girls" actress also wrote a powerful essay on the topic for the New Yorker.

In the essay, she talked about realizing how she rushed talking about marriage and involving the SCOTUS ruling in it. She also revealed finally speaking to Antonoff about her statements and all the tweets before eventually deciding together that marriage was not for them for now.

"I am not foolish enough to think I have made a final decision about marriage," the "Girls" actress wrote. "But it turns out that what I was waiting for was not the chance to marry but the chance to think about marriage on an even playing field, in a world where its relevance is a little harder to question and its essence a little harder to reject."

As previously reported by Us Weekly, Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff met on a blind date in 2012 and have been going strong since then.
