Singer and actor 2PM's Ok Taecyeon will be making his debut on the big screen.

He has been cast for producer Hong Ji Young's 'Night before Wedding' and will make his first appearance in a film.

'Night before Wedding' is a story about four to-be-wed couples who experience various marriage blues a week prior to the big day. Not only is the synopsis refreshing, but the star-studded cast is also quite promising.

In the film, Taecyeon will be an established professional chef and a fiancé of a nail artist who wavers between him and the advent of a new love. The movie will feature an interesting love triangle between him and Joo Ji Hoon, a web cartoon artist who throws Lee Yeon Hee's life in turmoil as her big day approaches. It has been reported that Taecyeon committed to the film despite 2PM's would-be busy schedule upon their comeback because he could not say no to the scenario and the character that he fell in love with.

Ok Taecyeon has acted in dramas like 'Dream High' and 'Sister Cinderella' previously and showed good prospects as an actor.

Other cast members of the film 'Night before Wedding' are Kim Kang Woo, Kim Hyo jin, Ma Dong Suk, Gujal, Lee Hee Joon and Go Joon Hee. It will be the eleventh production of Soo Film, a powerhouse of romantic comedies. The crank-in will be this month, with the opening day scheduled near the end of this year.
