Rumors about Jennifer Lawrence dating Liam Hemsworth have started now that the actress has split with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

According to OK! Magazine, as shared by Celebrity Dirty Laundry, the "Hunger Games: Mockingjay 2" co-stars were again linked to each other as they are both single.

Reportedly, Jennifer Lawrence has ran to the arms of Miley Cyrus' ex after her breakup with Chris Martin earlier this year.

"Lots of people were convinced they would wind up together, and they still could! Jen has been calling Liam all the time, especially at night," it said.

Liam Hemsworth has reportedly been dating Maika Monroe while Jennifer Lawrence was linked to former boyfriend Nicholas Hoult and Alicia Vikander's boyfriend, Michael Fassbender.

In an interview with E! News late last year, Jennifer Lawrence gushed about Liam Hemsworth whom she calls her best friend.

"I guess the thing that surprised me is that I would never expect to ever have a man this good-looking ever be my best friend," Chris Martin's ex said. "I just would never assume those things could happen, but he is. He's the most wonderful, lovable, family-oriented, sweet, hilarious, amazing guy."

"I'm a wimp about standing up for myself and Liam is always fair," the "Hunger Games: Mockingjay 2" actress added. "He's always on time, he's always doing his job, and he's good about making sure that things stay fair. He's teaching me to toughen up a little bit."

And it's mutual admiration society for Liam Hemsworth and Jennifer Lawrence, which probably explains the dating rumors.

"Jennifer cares about the people around her, she has a big heart, she's amazing at it," Miley Cyrus' ex told Good Morning America. "You couldn't ask for a better costar than her, she's great."

He continued, "Jennifer has no filter at all, especially if you're having a bad day she'll pounce on that, she'll find your weakness and exploit it for the entire set."

To date, Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth have not yet issued a statement to deny or confirm the dating rumors.
