Chris Hemsworth, Liam Hemsworth Clashing? 'Mockingjay' Star Clears Up Rumored Sibling Rivalry!

Chris Hemsworth and Liam Hemsworth are among Hollywood's most prized celebrity siblings. But months ago, it was rumored that the brothers were purportedly in some sort of sibling rivalry.

In an interview with Germany's Bravo Magazine, the younger Hemsworth finally cleared up the rumors. As cited by TV3, the "Independence Day: Resurgence" actor insisted he and the "Thor" actor were always supportive of each other.

"There is absolutely no rivalry between us!" the "Independence Day: Resurgence" actor explained. "Not even friendly rivalry. We don't even go for the same kinds of roles. We are always happy when the other one is successful."

Liam Hemsworth even revealed that he turns to the "Thor" actor for advice when it comes to matters of the heart.

"Chris and I talk about everything," he said in the same interview. "We also talk about women. He's my best friend and gives me great advice. I can rely on him 100 per cent."

Just a few days ago, the actor brothers even showed off that they remain close despite their prospering careers. As reported by MTV, the duo suit up over the weekend to watch and bond over some soccer match.

It was just last July when the brothers' relationship was tarnished by rumors. Citing an item from Star Magazine, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported that the "Independence Day: Resurgence" actor apparently felt bitter over the "Thor" actor's career.

"Liam flipped out at Comic-Con when he thought a reporter had called him by his brother's name," the source revealed. "Liam's reaction was a direct result of his jealousy over his brother Chris' red-hot career."

Though the brothers did not address the rumors directly then, they quashed it all the same when they appeared together with their older brother Luke Hemsworth for the premiere of the movie "Vacation" as told by People.

Last month, the "Independence Day: Resurgence" actor also revealed that he hoped to work with his older brother in a movie soon.

"We have talked about it for a long time," he said as quoted by Screen Daily. "We are just waiting for the stars to align."

"I don't know what it will be but we will only likely get one chance to do it," Liam Hemsworth added about possibly working with older brother Chris Hemsworth. "But it would take a lot longer than usual as it would be difficult to be serious on set."
