The report about Emma Stone being engaged to Andrew Garfield are scuttled by the new nasty rumor that she hooked up with Ryan Gosling while filming "La La Land."

The two worked before in "Crazy, Stupid Love" and the 2013 film, "Gangster Squad."

The synopsis of "La La Land" said, "Sebastian (Ryan Gosling) and Mia (Emma Stone) are drawn together by their common desire to do what they love. But as success mounts they are faced with decisions that begin to fray the fragile fabric of their love affair, and the dreams they worked so hard to maintain in each other threaten to rip them apart."

"After seeing Ryan Gosling, 34, and Emma Stone, 26, co-star in two romantic movies, it's hard to deny that the two have chemistry," said Hollywood Life. "A report has surfaced that, in the middle of filming their third movie together, Ryan and Emma's on-screen flames could be more than just acting!"

The website was referring to the rumor started by Star magazine, as shared by In Touch Weekly, which claimed that Emma Stone might not be engaged to Andrew Garfield because she's cheating on him with Ryan Gosling.

"It doesn't matter how many times Ryan tells Eva that he and Emma are just friends, she knows there's an attraction there," an alleged source said.

"Eva stops by the set and constantly calls Ryan to see what he's up to," the source added. "If she gets his voicemail, she'll text and text until he gets back to her. The trust just isn't there, and she thinks it's time they went their separate ways."

To date, the "engaged" Emma Stone and boyfriend Andrew Garfield have yet to issue a statement regarding the cheating rumors.

But the rumor mill went into overdrive when the "Amazing Spider-Man" actor said in a recent interview that he's not okay.

Meanwhile, Emma Stone recently spoke about the kind of men she is attracted to.
