Serena Williams and Drake dating rumors are going strong despite the fact that some of her fans still believe that she is involved with her coach Patrick Mouratoglou. But it looks like Serena Williams has to jump through a few hoops before she can land on a relationship with either Drake or Patrick Mouratoglou.

According to Hollywood Life, Drake is only able to get via his mother. A source revealed to Hollywood Life that "Sandi is the first and only woman in Drake's life... And in her mind, no woman is good enough to marry her son. That's one of the reasons why Drake has commitment issues. [Sandi] has been pumping up his ego since the day he was born, telling him how 'perfect' and how 'amazing' he is."

But seeing how Serena Williams is more famous, more accomplished, richer and more successful than Drake is, she may have no problem convincing Drake's mother that she is well worth her rapper son.

Just because Drake's mother is standing in the way of their dating, that doesn't mean that Serena Williams is just focused on him. She has been for years linked with her own coach Patrick Mouratoglou and their chemistry isn't dying out any time soon.

Before things went sour at the US Open 2015, Serena's relationship with coach Patrick Mouratoglou wasn't so bad. She even posted a video of herself making fun of her long rumored boyfriend Patrick Mouratoglou on Instagram.

She captioned the light-hearted video, "New job coaching @patrickmouratoglou #dynamicduo #dreamteam I'm a coach."

As for her 34th birthday celebrations, the world number 1 kept things classy by spending time with her friends. The Wimbledon 2015 winner filled her Instagram and Twitter feed with collages of her friends that showed just how much they care for her.

Looks like Patrick Mouratoglou and Drake didn't make it to the list of beloved friends.

But Serena WIlliams did spend some quality time with the two men in her life before the birthday celebrations started. She made sure to attend the restaurant opening for Drake, who seemed to have taken care of her emotional state post US Open 2015.
