EXO Make History As 1st Act To Perform In Seoul's Newly Built Gocheok Sky Dome

SM Entertainment boy band EXO made history with their most recent concert.

The nine-member K-pop act were the first to perform in Seoul's newly built Gocheok Sky Dome, filling all 22,000 seats. The EXO-Love CONCERT in DOME was held on Saturday, Oct. 10.

EXO performed all of their recent hit songs such as "Call Me Baby," "Overdose," "Growl," and more. The members also sang their self-composed singles and performed covers of other artists' songs.

Lay performed his self-composed song "Yixing," Chanyeol sang John Legend's "All of Me, and Suho covered Kim Jo Han's single "I Want to Fall in Love." Baekhyun collaborated with lable mates SG Wannabe to cover "As We Live," while D.O covered Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend" and Kai sang "Beautiful Goodbye" by G.Soul.

"I think we had a good time with our fans. Tonight will be a memory that both EXO and EXO-Ls will treasure," said Suho before the end of the concert, as reported by Soompi.

Gocheok Sky Dome officially opened on Sept. 15, and holds 10,000 more people than the Olympic Gymnastics Arena. The roof is insulated with a special film and blocks outdoor noise. It also includes brand new LED screens throughout and the stage moves so that artists can get closer to the fans.

EXO is currently getting ready to release their debut Japanese single album "Love Me Right - Romantic Universe" on Nov. 4. There will be 10 editions of the single and all will include an additional dance track.

The band also released a short video on Avex's official YouTube channel on Friday, Oct. 2 to promote their upcoming Japan Dome tour, which is scheduled to kick off on Nov. 6.
