Nicole Kidman has been very vocal about expanding her family for years of her marriage to Keith Urban. Recently, during an interview at the Woman in the World Summit in London, she revealed that Urban was not really in a rush to have kids with her early in their relationship.

"I wanted to have a baby the minute we met and he was like, 'No,'" she said in jest as quoted by Fox News. "And I got lucky. I got to have a child when I was 41. I then got to have a surrogate who was an incredible woman in our life. I have two adopted children. I'm a mother that's experienced motherhood through many different avenues."

Almost ten years into their marriage, Nicole Kidman admitted to Vogue in July that Keith Urban hasn't changed a bit when it came to children talk. The actress has admitted in multiple interviews that she had hoped for more children.

"I wish I could have met him much earlier and had way more children with him," the "Photograph 51" actress told the magazine. "But I didn't. I mean, if I could have had two more children with him, that would have been just glorious. But as Keith says, 'The wanting mind, Nicole. Shut it down.'"

The country singer though has been a doting husband despite this. In a recent chat with DuJour, the "Photograph 51" actress even admitted that he makes time for her despite their busy schedule. She even shared the story on how the "American Idol" judge flew to London to support her "Photograph 51" debut then flew back to the US afterwards.

Prior to Kidman's marriage to the country singer though, she had to go through some struggles especially after her divorce with Tom Cruise.

"To be completely honest, I was running from my life at that time," she said about the Tom Cruise divorce as cited by The Guardian. "I wasn't able to handle the reality of my life and as an actor you have this wonderful thing where you can go and get lost in somebody else's life and become somebody else for a period of time, and when I look back on it, I really see that."

Everything worked out after the Tom Cruise divorce though, Nicole Kidman won an Oscar and later on met Keith Urban. Their marriage in now on its tenth year.
