U.S. Billboard Praises Lee Hi, 'Second Song is Another Success'

U.S. Billboard has praised Lee Hi again for her ranking number 1 for her new album.

Earlier this week, U.S. Billboard revealed an article stating that Lee Hi's second album was also another success.

Billboard stated, "Lee Hi's successful debut last year with '1,2,3,4' was not out of luck. Her new second title song, 'Rose' is also making an all-kill on charts."

They continued, "The song 'Rose' allows Lee Hi's great vocals to shine through in this dance track. Even though they pushed back the release date a week later, the album still was a huge success."

Lee Hi previously released the first part of her album First Love, with the title song, "It's Over" back in March.

Lee Hi also recently won the number 1 spot on Mnet "M! Countdown" today with her new song.

Only 3 days after the release of "Rose," it hit over 200,000 downloads, showing its immense popularity.

This song was produced by Teddy and Song Baek Kyung of 1TYM.

Lee Hi's new album was split into two parts by revealing half of the songs one day and the other half later on. The album also features 2 title songs. She first revealed "It's Over" and gained much attention.

Lee Hi first was seen on the audition program, "K-Pop Star." She won runner-up on the show and signed with YG Entertainment.

She debuted last fall with her song, "1,2,3,4" and was an instant hit, making her a 'monster rookie'. Her soulful voice was rare to find in a 16 year old girl which made her gain even more attention.

Before her own debut, she also featured in Epik High's new album for their song, "It's Cold."
