Big Bang Members Get New Ink From Acclaimed Tattoo Artist Anil Gupta

If you're looking for a tattoo and in New York, and can afford it, Anil Gupta is your guy. And that's precisely what two members of K-pop group Big Bang did while they were in the area for two shows in Newark, New Jersey.

On Wednesday, Gupta posted a picture to his official Facebook page regarding tattoos that he created for Big Bang's G-Dragon and Taeyang. The pair took time out of their busy North American "MADE" concert tour to receive the new ink.

Gupta wrote that the project took him 2 days, but was a great experience.

"Working on GD and Tae was a lot of fun," wrote Gupta on his page. "I did two consecutive days (with Zero sleep). Their respectful and jovial behavior made this otherwise cumbersome and tedious task easy for me."

The picture posted by Gupta was re-shared by Taeyang on his official Instagram account, and showed G-Dragon (Kwon Ji Yong) and Taeyang (Dong Young Bae) giving Gupta hugs. Big Bang's T.O.P (Choi Seung Hyun) was also featured in the picture, along with some of Big Bang's entourage and what appears to be Gupta's team.

G-Dragon got new ink on the back of his neck, featuring a figure with wings that appears with a light covering its face.

Taeyang's appears to feature the word "Passion" and references to Jesus Christ.

Tattoos carry stigma in South Korea and are defined as a medical procedure, meaning that only licensed doctors can legally ink others.

Tattoos are also a factor in Korea's mandatory military service, as the Korean army rejects men who have numerous tattoos.

Big Bang completed their North American "Made" Tour with a show in Toronto on Tuesday night.
