Twihards rejoice and thank Stephenie Meyer's momma! According to the "Twilight" creator herself, 'Midnight Sun' may still happen.

In an interview with Hypable, the "Twilight" creator admitted she's still working on the Edward Cullen point-of-view story to make her mom's dreams come true.

"I'm working on it," the author revealed. "I didn't completely shelve it because of that. It was just that - I was telling this story - it feels like it's cursed. Because every time I start it, something happens and it's just like, 'ugh.'"

"But... my mother is going to kill me if I don't do it," she explained further. "It's more true than you know. This is all she wants from me. Every birthday, every Christmas present I get her, [she goes,] 'you know what I really want.' This is my life."

At the moment, Stephenie Meyer admitted she's having difficulty moving forward with Edward Cullen's version of the "Twilight" story. She gave a simple "I hope so" when asked about publishing "Midnight Sun" when the right time comes though.

In the meantime, she spilled on the latest material she has written for the much-awaited novel so far.

"It was the day that Edward leaves school early right before the weekend with the meadow," she told interview Andrew Sims about the chapter she's recently written.

It was only last weekend when Twihards were crushed upon hearing that the Edward Cullen story might never come true anymore. While appearing at the New York Comic Con, the author said she's postponed writing it again partly because of EL James' "Grey" as reported by Entertainment Weekly.

Stephenie Meyer worked on "Midnight Sun" in 2008 but announced later on that she was shelving the tale as the first few pages on the story leaked online as told by MTV. Fans were given a preview of the Edward Cullen tale though as the "Twilight" creator herself published the first chapter on her website.
