B1A4’s Jinyoung Reveals The Importance Of Personal Experiences To His Song Writing Process In @Star1 Interview

B1A4's Jung Jinyoung flaunted his new purple hair in the October issue of @Star1. The idol modeled winter apparel from Heritory's 2015 Fall/Winter collection that included striped cardigans, padded jackets and fun beanies.

During the accompanying interview, Jinyoung talked about the photoshoot concept. He stated, "I tried on a lot of different clothes and hairstyles. I did a photoshoot [for the magazine] a year ago, but my hair color has changed. And I feel like it's more mature this time."

When the topic switched to other entertainment activities he would like to try, Jinyoung revealed, "Like B1A4 member Baro, I want to go on a reality type variety program like MBC's Real Men or SBS's Law of the Jungle. I'm also curious about how I would react in extreme situations."

He then added, "But I don't know if I would be able to do well like Baro."

The star also discussed his song writing process. He explained, "Most of the lyrics I've written are from experience. I like to imagine too, but listeners are able to identify more with lyrics written from real life experience. If I hit a certain limit when writing lyrics from just my own experience, I prefer to continue writing after listening to the stories of others instead of imagining the rest of the story."

Recently, B1A4's representative agency, WM Entertainment, confirmed that the group will star in the musical drama December's Gift.
