Stephenie Meyer would love to talk to Kristen Stewart about her new book "Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined."

In an interview with MTV, the "Twilight" creator was informed of the Bella Swan's gender-swap prediction of sorts and the author seemed stunned by the fact.

"It would have been interesting to know that she said that because we could have had a whole conversation on that," Meyer said.

She didn't seem to agree though on the Bella Swan actress' opinion on how the character would have been perceived as more "courageous" if their genders were reversed.

"I really strongly thought that if Bella was a boy, it doesn't change anything," she explained. "Yet, you'd tell that to someone and they'd nod, like, "Yeah right." So it felt like an unanswered question. This is what I've been trying to say, it just takes me 400 pages to do it. This is how it would be, and see? It's really very similar."

This is not the first time that Stephenie Meyer has mentioned Kristen Stewart while promoting "Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined" for the 10th anniversary of the hit book series. During the New York Comic Con, she also gushed about the actress.

"Kristen was always so great and natural," she said about the actress as tweeted by TwilightMoms.

Stewart's gender-swap idea happened in 2012 when "Breaking Dawn: Part 1" was being promoted. As uncovered by MTV, the actress said people might have looked at Bella Swan differently if she was a boy.

"I think if you were to swap the roles, if you were to have Edward and Bella be [switched], people would find him to be so courageous," Kristen Stewart told Shauna Murphy back then about Stephenie Meyer's characters. "Like, 'Wow, he just laid it out on the line for her and really trusts himself and even in the face of the strongest adversity, he doesn't deny his feelings!'"
