'26th Golden Disk Awards' was held at Osaka Kyosera Dom on Jan. 11 and 12.  

At the main event, the Golden Disk grand award and Digital Music grand award were given to Super Junior and Girls Generation. 

Especially, Super Junior won 4 trophies, including Grand award, Main award, Most Popularity award, MSN Japan award. Girls Generation won Digital Music award and Main award.

Super Junior and Girls Generation, both SM Entertainment artists, won the Grand awards proving the donimation in music industry in the year of 2011.
