Angelina Jolie spoke out about all the troubles the couple is allegedly going through while filming "By the Sea," as Brad Pitt took kids Knox and Vivienne along to the movie set.

"It's not autobiographical," she told Vogue. "Brad and I have our issues, but if the characters' were even remotely close to our problems, we couldn't have made the film."

She continued, "This is the only film I've done that is completely based on my own crazy mind. When I was writing it, I never assumed we'd actually do it."

In that sense, Angelina Jolie just wrote "with a kind of freedom" on the assumption that "By The Sea" won't ever get made.

On working with Brad Pitt on this movie, Angelina Jolie said, "As artists we wanted something that took us out of our comfort zones. . .Just being raw actors. It's not the safest idea. But life is short."

Meanwhile, Brad Pitt bonded with 7-year-old twins, Knox and Vivienne, when he took the kids to the movie set of his new film, "War Machine," in London.

"Brad's character, billed as a 'rock star' general with a 'lethal reputation,' is loosely based on the army veteran and he was clad in full military attire," Daily Mail said.

The movie is based on the novel by Michael Hastings titled, "The Operators: The Wild And Terrifying Inside Story Of America's War In Afghanistan."

"It is not yet known whether the Hollywood star's children will be making an on-screen appearance, since Vivienne has taken a shine to acting," the article added, noting the cameo of Vivienne on her mother's film, "Maleficent."

Angelina Jolie said that she and Brad Pitt make sure that they always find time for the kids which is why they scaled down their schedules.

"I'm happy to be home," she said in the Vogue interview. "I want to really focus on my children, doing the best I can to guide and protect them before they are out of the house. These are their most important years."
