Former EXO Member Z.Tao Releases New Song 'Reluctantly'

Continuing to make a name for himself as a singer in China, Z.Tao (Huang Zitao, formerly known as Tao of EXO) released a self-composed track last week.

"Reluctantly" is an emotional ballad composed by the singer himself, in collaboration with Andros Rodriguez, and was released at the end of last week

The song combines tender vocals and lyrics with rap, and is the ninth song that Z.Tao released as a soloist in China since July.

The heartfelt "Reluctantly" comes as Z.Tao is amidst multiple lawsuits with his former agency, SM Entertainment. He left the company and EXO in August, and is currently suing SM Entertainment for the termination of his exclusive contract.

SM Entertainment countered with a lawsuit in China to put a halt to his activities in China while he is still under contract.

Since leaving EXO, Tao has pursued a career as an actor and singer in China under the name Z.Tao.

Z.Tao is one of three Chinese former EXO members in the middle of contract termination lawsuits with SM Entertainment. Wu Yi Fan (Kris) and Luhan are also currently promoting in China as soloists and actors while suing SM Entertainment in contract termination lawsuits.

Z.Tao released his first EP, "T.A.O" in July, followed by the EP "Z.TAO" in August.
