MTV Movie Awards 2013: Will Ferrell Receives Brand-New Comedic Genius Award, One Basic Dream In Life Is To Make People Laugh, Renewed Vows With "Wife" Onstage

The award's presenter, Peter Dinklage, said that there are many things that Will Ferrell doesn't know, "but one thing that Will Ferrell know is comedy. He's the best at it."

Will Ferrell, wearing a patterned suit and shades and 100% in-character, accepted the inaugural Comedic Genius Award during the MTV Movie Awards 2013 Sunday night. The comedian thanked MTV for the award and shared about his two dreams.

"Thank you, thank you so much, thank you so much MTV for this amazing award. I'm just a simple guy from Irvine, CA who had two basic dreams, first one day to hopefully make people laugh. My other dream is to be able to wake up everyday and dress up myself exactly like Dennis Rodman."

It was is a humorous stunt, Will Ferrell asked his "family" to come on stage. None of whom seemed to resemble the actor's look, with his "wife" who he said he married when she was 50 while he was 19. He pretended to renew vows with his wife onstage, despite her not learning English in their 30 years of marriage. He called his "son," who was on stage, Chow Yun Fat.
