Gwen Stefani still wants to be a part of "The Voice" season 10 despite news that Christina Aguilera will be reclaiming her place as coach.

In an interview with the Associated Press, the No Doubt singer seemed keen to fight for her place on the talent search show and promises "to return" as she loved working with Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Pharrell Williams.

"They're all so smart, they're all lovely," she said about her fellow coaches. "They all got my back. I love them."

"It's the funnest thing I think I've ever done, and so inspiring," the No Doubt singer also shared about her stint on the show.

She even admitted in the same interview that given the chance to get back on the talent search show as a contestant would surely be a challenge for her.

News that Gwen Stefani won't be coming back for "The Voice" season 10 was confirmed two weeks ago when NBC announced Christina Aguilera's return. As reported by Entertainment Weekly, NBC executives were already excited for next season even though they're still in the middle of the current season.

"The coaches on 'The Voice' continue to bring incredible energy, unrivaled musical expertise," NBC Entertainment president of late night and alternative programming Paul Telegdy explained. "We can't wait to see what season 10 will bring."

Prior to the NBC announcement, Christina Aguilera's manager, Irving Azoff, has already revealed in an interview with Pauly Shore last month that she was taking over the show next season.

With the talent show out of her schedule next year, Stefani still doesn't know what she'll keep busy with in 2016.

"I don't have any plans for the future," she was quoted in saying by Billboard. "In fact, my whole thing right now is not thinking about the past or the future and, like, being right here, right this second, because it's so great right now."

For now, news has it that Gwen Stefani wants to make her exit with a win.

"I'm getting more competitive," she told Extra TV. "Yeah. I wanna kill these guys. I have to beat them!"
