YG Entertainment categorically denied dating rumors centered on 2NE1's CL (Lee Chaerin) and Mino (Song Minho) of WINNER. On October 21, the agency responded to a report that was initially published by the Korean outlet Kukmin Ilbo, which used what it claimed to be photographic evidence as the basis for rumors surrounding the popular K-pop stars.

YG swiftly responded to the claims, with a humorous statement that addressed both the article and the pictures that accompanied the report.

"CL and Song Minho are not dating," said a spokesperson for YG Entertainment, in a subsequent report published by Ilgan Sports. "The claims are laughingly outrageous. They published an article with unproven situations and Photoshopped pictures as the only proof." 

On October 21, Kukmin Ilbo reported the rumored news that CL and Mino were the first YG artists to begin dating. 

The outlet attempted to substantiate the claims through photos depicting the artists poolside and walking together during their trip to the pool. Kukmin Ilbo also followed the footsteps of tabloids like Dispatch by identifying matching bracelets owned by the K-pop stars, which could be perceived as couples accessories. 

Ilgan Sports went on to dispel the report by describing the methods in which the photos were obtained by Kukmin Ilbo.

"Today, the media released photos that were taken inside a building commonly used [by both artists]," said the reporter for Kukmin Ilbo. "The photo quickly spread through the article which claimed that CL and Song Minho were at a hotel and various public places. But the photos are known to be manipulated [edited] by fans." 

Meanwhile, CL continues to prepare for her highly anticipated U.S. debut, while 2NE1 continues to observe a hiatus from Korean entertainment. Mino recently completed his successful run on "Show Me the Money 4," where he was a finalist.
