Katie Holmes may be giving marriage a second try after her divorce with Tom Cruise. News and rumors even have it that the split was the "best decision" she apparently made.

In an item on the National Enquirer, it was mentioned that the "All We Had" actress parting from the "Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation" actor was purportedly the right choice.

"Leaving Tom may have been the best thing for Katie," an insider told the source above.

The gossip item also claimed that Katie Holmes has been entertaining the idea of settling down with rumored secret lover Jamie Foxx and plan to get both their families together soon to celebrate the good news.

"They're eager to get their families together over Thanksgiving and Christmas so they can all celebrate this joyous union," the source also said.

The "All We Had" actress has been linked to Jamie Foxx for years now despite the rumors being denied by the actor months ago.

"I guess they are trying to get money for whatever," Jamie Foxx told Entertainment Tonight in May about the rumors. "It's amazing what people will do to sell you out."

"Just friends," he also told TMZ in March. "That's all it is."

Despite his statement though, a new rumor swirled just last month after the "All We Had" actress was apparently spotted incognito in one hotel to reportedly meet with Jamie Foxx.

"Katie is so in love," the insider explained after the "All We Had" actress was rumored to have worn a wig and a hat just to meet with the actor. "I don't know if he's dating other women, but she isn't dating other men. She is all about Jamie."

Katie Holmes have not addressed any of the news about her dating. But she has said in an interview with People that she will love again someday.
