Bang Yong Guk Takes Lead With Upcoming B.A.P 'Matrix' Album As Producer

After struggling through a recent lawsuit with their record label, K-pop boy band B.A.P is back with a self-produced EP.

On Monday, it was revealed that B.A.P's leader Bang Yong Guk produced all of the tracks on the group's upcoming "Matrix" EP. "Matrix" consists of five songs.

According to TS Entertainment, Bang Yong Guk put a lot of effort into "Matrix," which will act as a new start for B.A.P.

"'Matrix' means the base where an individual or society can grow from," explained TS Entertainment. "It will be the base from where B.A.P can reach higher places."

Prior to debuting as a member of B.A.P, Bang Yong Guk made a name for himself as an indie artist and featured on songs with popular K-pop singers. During his time as a member of B.A.P and during the group's hiatus, Bang released several self-produced songs.

B.A.P's impending return comes a little less than a year after the group went on hiatus following a contract nullification lawsuit filed by the members. In August, it was reveled that B.A.P and TS Entertainment would continue to work with each other, and "Matrix" is the start of a new beginning for the group.

The group debuted in 2012 under TS Entertainment. "Matrix" is B.A.P's fourth EP.
