Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Hiddleston's chemistry both off screen and on has gotten fans swooning. With the revelation that the "Crimson Peak" actor was interested in doing a romantic flick, would his partner be the "I Saw The Light" actress?

Talking to GQ magazine, the "Crimson Peak" actor said after taking on thriller, biopic and action movies, he wanted to dab at a romantic comedy.

"I'd really love to see if I could do a romantic comedy, because I think they're really challenging and I think it would be really fun," he admitted.

He's not sure though if doing a romantic comedy would be a possibility as he's clearly identified himself with certain movie genres.

"Everyone has a particular set of novels, films, or albums that you hang your identity on it for a bit," he explained. "Daniel Day-Lewis in the 'Last of the Mohicans'; Anthony Hopkins in 'The Remains of the Day'; Al Pacino and Robert De Niro in 'Heat'; Jack Nicholson in 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.' I realize that if those are the films that shaped my imagination when I was younger, it's inevitable that now that I'm an actor, that's the type of work that I'm drawn to."

Though interested but still unsure, Tom Hiddleston did not reveal who he wanted to work with in a romantic comedy flick. But one seemingly possible contender would be Elizabeth Olsen. The "I Saw The Light" actress herself admitted they have great chemistry.

"Tom and I have been wanting to work with each other for a while," she told MTV News prior to working together on "I Saw The Light." "We've known each other for about four years, and we met doing a chemistry read for an audition and we were like, 'oh my God, this would be so much fun if we worked with each other.'"

With their great chemistry, rumors swirled in July that they might be dating. But Elizabeth Olsen has clarified last month that she was only friends with Tom Hiddleston. No word yet if they would be working together again in a movie anytime soon.
