Latest 'Five Nights At Freddy's 4' DLC Teaser Hints At Possible New Jump Scare From Nightmare Chica

The countdown until the "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" DLC is now less than 48 hours, and now that Nightmare Balloon Boy, Puppet, and Mangle have been confirmed, what could possibly be left?

Well, since this is "Five Nights at Freddy's," new jump scares seem to be definitely appropriate.

Creator Scott Cawthon has once again updated his official website with a new teaser from the upcoming "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" Halloween DLC. Though the photo looks like just another image of Nightmare Chica, fans in the official Reddit thread believe it's a hint toward a brand new jump scare.

Since the new Nightmare Chica teaser saves as "BOO," several fans believe that it's a hint toward a new jump scare.

"What if 'boo' is the jump scare sound for the Halloween edition," suggested Mango-Pango on Reddit.

In response, Fluttter_Skye provided a .gif that changes the current in-game jump scare to the new teaser photo provided, showing that perhaps the new jump scare has a Halloween-themed orange coloring.

The Halloween aesthetic added to Nightmare Chica makes sense considering Cawthon's official post on Steam about what fans could expect with the "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" DLC. The automatic update will include a new cheat menu, challenge menu, and a new twist on the original Plushtrap mini-game.

There will also be a new special Halloween themed version of "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" that includes a few cosmetic changes. Unfortunately for fan theorists, the Halloween version will not be canon, so there will be no new series clues included.

With all these changes set to go in effect automatically, fans worried about bugs should be assured that Cawthon will upload the Halloween edition of "Five Night's at Freddy's 4" on Game Jolt.

The original "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" is currently available for purchase on the Steam, iOS, and Android platforms. The DLC is set to go into effect on Oct. 31.
