Radiohead Done With New Album Recording! Tour Dates For 2016 Announced?

Radiohead has confirmed that their progress with their new album is almost near completion after the band revealed that they are done with recording their tracks for the record.

According to a report from Consequence Of Sound, guitarist Jonny Greenwood revealed that Radiohead is done recording their new album and that they are just in the process of evaluating the tracks before it goes into the process of mixing.

"We have finished recording of the new album but we keep reevaluating the work we've done," Greenwood said told Russia's Silver Radio on a Reddit report.

In addition to that, the guitarist also revealed that they are also planning on the series of road shows to promote the record.

"We hope we'll get it right soon, and after that we'll start planning the next year's tour."

Meanwhile, drummer Philip Selway recently talked to NME and talked about the different strategy they did for the new Radiohead album.

"For so long we kind of played exclusively with each other and that takes you so far, so I suppose from album to album you try to push yourself beyond your comfort zone," Selway said.

"We kind of change record to record, try and change the underlying approach to making music."

In a different interview with NME, the drummer also talked about how they managed to mix different methods with recording their upcoming release, which is expected to have a different feel as compared to their past efforts.

"We've certainly changed our method again," Greenwood said. "It's too involved. We're kind of limiting ourselves; working on limits. So we'll see what happens. It's like we're trying to use very old and very new technology to see what happens."

Rumors state that official tour dates could be announced as early as December while Radiohead is still finishing up with their new album.
