Will.i.am Admits He Accidentally Stole a Song

The famous hip hop musician, Will.i.am, who just returned with his new album Willpower, admitted during an interview that he did plagiarize by accident.

On April 23, American music magazine Billboard Biz conducted an interview with Will.i.am and brought up the allegation that one of his songs, "Let's Go," featured by hip hop artist Chris Brown, is under criticism for being a copy work of another.

The song that "Let's Go" has been compared to Arty & Mat Zo's "Rebound" for their striking similarities.

Will.i.am attempted to draw the comparison between the two songs and explain that he has received permission to use parts of "Rebound." Arty, however, stated that the two never reached an agreement. At last, Will.i.am admitted that he did end up using Arty's song without proper authorization.

"Something happened and the clearance... hopefully we resolved the issue," Will.i.am originally commented but later upon the release of his song admitted that the issue never resolved.

In conclusion, he stole a song, albeit accidentally.
