Two And A Half Men Returning for 11th Season, Fate Of Angus T Jones To Be Determined

CBS has picked up "Two and a Half" men for an 11th season this fall. Actors Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher are signed up to appear as regulars but Angus T Jones might not return.

Fans of the CBS comedy "Two and a Half Men" would have noticed that Jake (Angus T Jones) did not make regular appearances last season. Jones' character enlisted in the army and was often seen via Skype.

Jones' character would appear once and a while on "Two and a Half Men." In one episode Jake had a candle in the wind love affair with Miley Cyrus when she guest starred on the show.

According to the Hollywood Reporter Nina Tassler the CBS entertainment chief would like to see Jones return to "Two and a Half Men" even though the young actor wants to begin college in the fall. CBS' desire to have Jones return for an 11th season of "Two and a Half Men" comes as a surprise since the actor publically bashed the show.

In a video posted on YouTube Angus T. Jones talks about his spirituality and finding god. He then goes on to say,

"Jake from "Two and a Half Men" is nothing. If you watch "Two and a Half Men" please stop watching "Two and a Half Men" I'm on "Two and a Half Men" and I don't want to be on it. Please stop watching it. Please stop filling your head with filth."

Later on Jones would publically apologize for his rant about "Two and a Half Men" saying in a statement,

"I apologize if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed."

According to the Hollywood Reporter Tassler says that Jones made his apology and CBS has accepted it and are ready to move forward and keep Jake a part of "Two and a Half Men."

"He's been a beloved member of that cast for years and years and years and he issued a public apology. At the end of the day, they want him back and he wants to come back," the Hollywood Reporter quotes Tassler as saying.
