MBLAQ's Mir, who is currently on the variety show, "Real Man," is showing a new side of him that viewers have never seen before. Previously in talk shows and other variety programs, Mir has shown a character that was a bit childish, intentional or not. With his serious face on in "Real Man," Mir is surprising everyone.

Despite having had a slipped disc injury before, Mir completed various heavy lifting missions without making any excuses. "I did not want to slow the team down by complaining about the pain," Mir remarked after the completion of the task.

Then, he showed his typical side-a mix of funny and childish-as he shrank at the sight of a syringe, confessing his fear of needles.

Upon the team's return to camp, he went out of his way and tried to get in touch with a girl-group member. No one in particular, just anyone, as he was attempting to appease the tight grip of his superiors at the military camp, where the reality show is situated. Finally, he was able to get a hold of SISTAR's Bora to the delight of his superiors.

He continued to stay serious in other training modules. Learning how to load a cannon, his face was wiped clean of traces of childishness.

Mir was originally going to depart from the show due to his back pain as well as MBAQ's imminent comeback. After falling in love with the show, however, Mir decided to stay and continue for the next round of recording as well.
