Khloe Kardashian was birthed into the world and probably turned into the star that she is today thanks to her mother and manager, or fondly dubbed “momager,” Kris Jenner. That doesn’t stop the reality TV star, however, from slamming her own mom in the international press in an interview with Cosmopolitan UK for their June 2013 issue.

RadarOnline reports that the 28-year-old star opened up about her relationship with her mom in the publication’s upcoming issue. She admitted that she not only resented her for being the boss of their family empire and for blatantly telling her to lose weight, but also for Kim being Kris’ favorite daughter.

“I’d never manage my kids,” Khloe said in her feature at the British fashion magazine. “We gang up on Mom, and that has to be so hard. Now I’m getting older I feel sorry for her rather than resent her.”

Khloe Kardashian, who has openly discussed her struggle with her weight for several years, confesses that her mother has urged her to shape up at times, primarily because it’s not good for their family’s brand – the Kardashian brand.

She described a time when her mom was talking to her about her weight, “ [Once my mom told me] I was gaining weight, but she was talking to me as a manager, like I was ruining a brand deal.”

She also expresses a slight disdain on Kim being her Mom’s favorite daughter, “It’s hard to understand that, and it’s more hurtful when it’s coming from my mom, but Kim is definitely her favorite. It doesn’t bother me. They’re so similar – they could be the same person."
