Mariah Carey And Nick Cannon Renew Wedding Vows At Disneyland, Fairy Tale Ceremony Attended By Disney Princesses And Mickey Mouse

Singer Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have uttered the words “I do” again – this time in a ceremony fit for a fairy tale.

The couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary by renewing their vows Tuesday night at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif. According to a report by Entertainment Tonight.

ET reported that the couple had a birthday celebration for their 2-year-old twins, son Moroccan and daughter Monroe, at a prince and princess-themed party before holding the ceremony. Disney princesses and Mickey and Minnie Mouse were among the attendees of the dreamlike event.

Mariah Carey shared a photo of the night’s festivities from her Twitter account, with the message, “Celebrating our anniversary & #dembabies birthday (can you believe they’re 2??) #blessed.” She even posted a six-second video of her Cinderella-like entrance on Vine.

The singer/”American Idol” judge wore a princess-inspired bridal gown for the couple’s vow renewal and it took place in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle. Mariah Carey and her daughter traveled by horse-drawn carriage to the ceremony, where Cannon and their son awaits to meet them, both were dressed as princes.

After the ceremony, which was themed “Do you believe in fairy tales?” – guests were treated to a fireworks display and a reception deejayed by Cannon in the park’s Fantasyland section. ET reported that the space was decorated with 15,000 flowers imported from South Africa, Holland and France as well as 10,000 crystals. Guests attending the ceremony were able to ride the Matterhorn Bobsled rollercoaster and enjoy other attractions while the park was closed to the public.

Carey and Cannon were married at the Bahamas on April 30, 2008 and their twins were born on the same day three years after in 2011.
