TV Host Sex Addiction Exposed By Partner: David Tutera Of “My Fair Wedding” Accused Of Hiring Sex Escorts And Prostitutes To Support Addiction

TV host David Tutera of “My Fair Wedding” has been accused of having a sex addiction by Ryan Jurica, the TV host’s soon-to-be former partner. Tutera has filed for divorce, according to People magazine Tuesday.

Tutera, 47, has built his brand on all things bridal as a wedding wizard of sorts, able to transform his clients’ lackluster nuptials into celebrity-style affairs on his makeover show for WeTV.

He and Jurica had a ceremony in Vermont in September 2003 but separated on New Year’s Day 2013, based on the Los Angeles Superior Court filing of Tutera obtained by People Magazine. The documents cited “irreconcilable differences,” with David seeking full custody of their unborn twins, visitation for Jurica and denial of spousal support, as well as requesting Jurica to pay for the legal fees involved in the split.

The wedding planner filed the court document to end their 10-year partnership on April 19, but two days before that, Jurica filed his own documents to dissolve the partnership. He claimed in his filings that the tv host had an “addiction to sex” and “engaged in a pattern of hiring sex escorts and prostitutes to support his addiction.”

Jurica said in his court documents, that were obtained by TMZ, that, "After repeated attempts at marriage counseling and therapy, we have been unable to save our relationship due to [David's] addiction to sex."

Jurica is seeking spousal support from the David Tutera’s reported $1-million annual salary and is also demanding full custody of the twins. Tutera and Jurica are expecting the twins to be born through a surrogate mom this summer.

The TV host’s soon-to-be former partner also claims that he went into a downward spiral and checked himself into a rehab after Tutera initiated the breakup.

The WeTV star has denied Jurica’s allegations, labeling them “baseless” and “untrue.”

Tutera, responding to the allegations, including his alleged sex addiction, sent in a statement to the Huffington Post saying:

“The allegations against me are baseless and untrue and I will fight vigorously to defend my reputation in the court of law as well as the court of public opinion. I believe them to be fabrications of a desperate individual in order to gain a legal advantage in our separation. I am saddened by these developments; I am angered by the lies; and I am committed to moving beyond this painful moment to focus on my professional commitments and the upcoming birth of my children.”

Tutera has been the host of WE’s “My Fair Wedding” since it premiered in 2008. He has planned weddings for celebrities like Star Jones and Shannen Doherty as well as events for Jennifer Lopez, Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Al Gore and Tommy Hilfiger. He has authored seven books including, “My Fair Wedding: Finding Your Vision…Through His Revisions!”
