11-Member 'Produce 101' Group Pushes Their Debut Back To May

The 11-member group formed after the final episode of idol reality show Produce 101 will make their official debut in May.

According to a statement made by a music industry insider on Mar. 28, the 11-member group will release their first single in the first week of May.

Although they initially planned to debut with the song "Crush"  on the final episode of of the show on April 1, their official debut has been postponed one month due to physical limits on the choreography of the song.

After discussing with each other, Mnet and YMC Entertainment, the two entities that will co-manage the group, came to an agreement to postpone their debut for another month.

In addition "Crush" will no longer be the group's debut single and, instead, will be releasing an entirely new song and concept.

In the final elimination, half of the 22 remaining contestants will be eliminated.
