KBS is definitely prepared for this year's gayo as they have announced that there will be girl group members who will cover a boy group song and vice versa.

It was reported by Allkpop that Seulgi of Red Velvet, SinB of G-Friend, Momo of TWICE, Choi Yoo Jung and Kim Chung Ha from IOI will be forming "Limited Unit" and will cover INFINITE's "Be Mine."

As for the boy group members covering a girl group song, the boy idol unit will include BamBam of GOT7, Minhyuk of BTOB, Youngae of B.A.P, and Minhyuk of MONSTA X. The boys will be covering "Good Girl Bad Girl" by Miss A.

Meanwhile, according to Soompi, Park Bo Gum and AOA's Seolhyun will MC this year's KBS Gayo Daejun. KBS Song Festival will have performances from veteran singers Jeon In Kwon, Uhm Jung Hwa, Han Dong Geun, Davichi and Hwang Chi Yeol. There will also be veteran idol groups SHINee, CNBLUE, INFINITE, B.A.P, EXID, BTOB, EXO, VIXX, and AOA. Solo singers Taeyeon and Jung Eun Ji will perform too.

Newer idol groups like BTS, GOT7, MAMAMOO, Red Velvet, and LABOUM will also perform. Of course, there will be rookie groups like GFRIEND, MONSTA X, SEVENTEEN, TWICE, I.O.I, Oh My Girl, UP10TION, Cosmic Girls, ASTRO, and NCT DREAM.

Kpopstarz has also reported that there will be a special performance from trendy girl groups Gfriend, Red Velvet, Twice and I.O.I. these girls will perform Girl's Generation's debut song, "Into The New World". Another special stage is BTS and BAP. The two charismatic and amazing performer boy groups will cover H.O.T and Seo Taiji and Boys songs.

Fans are hoping it will be so much better than SBS Gayo Daejun. I am sure fans are very excited for this event! It will happen today!
