Looks like the second day of 'Golden Disk Awards' was a parade of boy groups as they dominated the stages and the awards.

On January 14, Allkpop has reported that the '31st Golden Disk Awards' day 2 occurred. The 2017 hosts for day 2 were Kang Sora and Sung Si Kyung.

In the event, boy group EXO has won the 'Album of the Year 'with their "Ex'Act" album marking the 4^th consecutive year they have won the same award.

Other awards were given mostly to boy groups too.  IBTimes has also reported that the 'Disk Bonsang 'one of the main awards was given to boy groups. Rookie groups like Seventeen and MONSTA X has received it. Boy group from JYP Entertainment, GOT7, has also received one.

Solo singer Taemin, who was not present to get the award so co-SHINee member Minho took it, has also gotten one. Moreover, the trendy group BTS has also received it. VIXX has also received one. Furthermore, veteran boy groups like INFINITE and SHINee has also received the said award. EXO has also got one.

This just proves that boy groups do sell well when it comes to albums and it is the gril groups who sell more when it comes to the physical ones.

On another note, two more 'New Artist Award' was given tonight. Boy group from SM Entertainment, NCT 127 and the nations' rookie girl group, IOI, has won the award too. 'Best Producer' award went to BTS' boss, Bang Si Hyuk.

Meanwhile, awards like 'CeCi Asia Icon Award' went to Red Velvet and EXO which are both from SM Entertainment. The 'Global K-Pop Artist Award' was received by the trendy boy group BTS. The five-member boy group, SHINee, has also won 'Popularity Award' and it was only Minho who was present to get the award.

Fans of these boy groups were rejoicing because their favorites received the awards they deserve. All fans are congratulating their favorite groups and other groups as well.
