There's no doubt about it now.  Taeyang is G-Dragon's best friend.  While the now dubbed King of K-pop was still in Hong Kong for his solo world tour stop, he remembered to send his greetings to Taeyang by posting a throwback kind of picture on his Instagram account. The BIG BANG leader made sure that everyone knew that his friendship with Taeyang has no spaces between them in a cute and funny photo caption, with, you got it, literally, no spaces:

"HAPPYBIRTHDAYMYBESTFRIEND"

So, G-Dragon said in his Instapic caption. The photo he posted was a childhood pic with Taeyang where the two almost posed no differently to how they do today -- with their trademark swagger.  Don't you just find this cute?

And G-Dragon must love Taeyang so much that he made sure to greet him with a tweet also, right at the stroke of midnight of his birthday.  His tweet translates:  "Youngbae-ya, happy birthday! It's 12, sending you hearts from Hong Kong"

We all now know that Taeyang is one of, if not, G-Dragon's, most favorite person.  And he has shown this in these affectionate greetings for his bestfriend of so many years. 

YG Entertainment also sent official greetings to Taeyang, and posted a teaser of what looks like a solo comeback. 

Taeyang has replied, via Twitter, in gratitude to all those who have sent him and love and all fans who have supported him.  It can be remembered that the BIG BANG member had previously politely requested fans to not send him material gifts, asking fans to put it to better use. With the outpour of greetings and positive messages, Taeyang sure got a more precious gift, in the love of fans and friends.

With that, Happy Birthday Taeyang!   Now, we all will listen to a mix-tape made in his honor.
