Christian Bale Unrecognizable In Look For Latest Role: Hollywood Hunk Has Another Extreme Makeover For “American Hustle” Character

Hollywood hunk Christian Bale of Batman fame was unrecognizable in a new look he has donned for his latest role.

“Dark Knight Rises” actor Christian Bale landed at LAX on Sunday, May 19, looking unrecognizable in a bald head.

The 39-year-old actor debuted his new look while walking through the L.A. airport with wife Sibi Blazic and their 8-year-old daughter Emmeline. He kept a low-profile, wearing dark shades, a baggy black shirt and green cargo pants.

The day before, he was photographed filming his upcoming movie, “American Hustle” with co-star Amy Adams. The handsome movie star got a serious makeunder for his latest role, sporting a bad comb-over and heavier physique.

The New York Daily News humorously labeled the star, first a batman, then a bald man.

Christian Bale is widely known to go through extreme appearance change for his film roles. His current look is nothing compared to the red carpet ready stature he has in “Dark Knight Rises” and far from the muscular and sex-crazed look he had in “American Psycho.” In 2004, the Hollywood hunk lost an unbelievable 63 pounds for his role as Trevor Resnik in “The Machinist.”

He put the weight back on after “The Machinist” for “Batman Begins,” “3:10 To Yuma” and “Terminator Salvation.” Immediately after filming roles and clinching his next role, this time as Dicky Eklund for “The Fighter,” he lost the muscles once again to play the role of the drug-addicted boxer in the film. His work in “The Fighter” got him an Oscar.

His newest film “American Hustle” is directed by David O. Russell and also features Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner and Robert De Niro. Set in the 1970s, Christian Bale’s character in the FBI crime drama is based on the Abscam sting con man Melvin Weinberg.
